Greetings! With the planning of the Summer events and upcoming season, we've adopted a new logo for the LCSO. This fresh look takes on expressive colors that were chosen to symbolize vitality, optimism, creativity and strength.
We would like to take a moment to thank the visual designer who has been working with the orchestra marketing material for the past two years: Blind Visions Graphic Design The production team has been very busy planning an outdoor Pops Concert in Michigan City, an emotional Opera in New Buffalo, a dazzling vocal competition and an unforgettable season of movie magic! Take a moment to calendar upcoming events.
I know you don't want to miss a beat!

Harbor Country Opera presents: La Bohème

August 24, 2013, 8:00 PM CST
New Buffalo Performing Arts CenterFor the third year, opera producer Robert Swan has invited Maestro Bauman to be the music director for a summer opera event in Michigan. This year it takes place in a spacious location, the New Buffalo High School Theater at 1112 Clay St. New Buffalo, MI 49117. La Bohème, one of the world's most famous and popular operas, was composed by the great Italian, Giacomo Puccini. It is a tragic story of youthful dreams, artistic pursuit and poverty's devastation originally set in Paris around 1830. Emotionally charged, this classic opera will provide the audience an engaging evening in an intimate setting with easy to follow super-title projections and a cast that only Robert Swan can assemble. Purchasing Tickets in Advance is Advised: TICKET LINK HERE HarborCountryOpera.org
