Sponsored by Horizon Bank and NIPSCO, the competition is well underway to determine the next Hoosier Stars!
Judging the 2013 auditions were Sheryl Edwards, Greta Friedman, Brian Godfrey, Steve Mast and Brandon Williams. Each judge is an expert in music performance with a variety of vocal and theater credentials. After two days of auditions, they selected the six youth and six adult division finalists.
These chosen singers will prepare for the performance of a lifetime on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 7:00 pm CDT at the
La Porte Civic Auditorium, 1001 Ridge Street, La Porte, Indiana.

What will happen next?
The finalists will be transformed into STARS as they prepare to compete for cash prizes at a festive evening that is dedicated to supporting the work of the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra. Visit HoosierStar.com in May for photos, bios and samples of each singer's vocal talent.
Arrangements will be created from a song of their choice to be properly accompanied by the Hoosier STAR Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Philip Bauman on Saturday, September 14, 2013.
