A Message from Commissioner Hamman

As you know, Lee County is working diligently to help both new and existing employers create job opportunities for our residents. In this edition of EconomicLee Speaking, you will learn why Alorica located in our community and how its latest corporate acquisition boosts its already bright prospects.

Alorica recently completed a successful expansion project that has created 249 new jobs. The County's economic development program played an important role in facilitating this expansion by providing both technical assistance and financial incentives. In fact, our investment of $199,200 creates a recurring economic impact of almost $8 million annually!

With Alorica's recent acquisition of West Corporation's agent business services, the company goes over the $1 billion mark in annual revenues. This continuation of the company's aggressive growth trajectory makes it one of the country's largest Business Process Outsourcing providers.

We hope you enjoy reading about this and other efforts underway to create a vibrant local economy that enhances our quality of life.

Sincerely,

Brian Hamman

Chair, Lee County Commission
