Our last "V"mail featured my video blog about a mother who helped her young Cub Scout practice the virtue of Purposefulness. If you missed it the first time around, here it is again. MICHAEL AND THE PINEWOOD DERBY >
Purposefulness, determination, patience, self-discipline and responsibility are just a few virtues that empower kids to accomplish great things. Compassion, forgiveness, idealism, tolerance and truthfulness are a few virtues that empower them to BE great.
I believe parents and grandparents, aunts and uncles, teachers and coaches, and even school bus drivers can bring out the very best in our kids by helping them understand the what, why and how of virtues, and by using The Five Strategies of The Virtues Project.
When my son was born I no idea how to be a parent. Fortunately, I discovered The Family Virtues Guide. The Five Strategies made perfect sense to me. They were so simple and effective; I actually became a wonderful parent! Plus they helped me become a positive coach and mentor to many other kids in my life. All I needed to do was make the time.

I made this new video for The "V" Channel homepage. Hopefully it will inspire you to make the time and learn more about how to bring out the very best in your children.
Wishing you and all our kids "Victory via Virtues!"
