This year, on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, the Lutheran Elementary School Association is part of a call to action that will change the calendar and help make history. We are celebrating a day dedicated to giving-when charities, families, businesses, students, retailers and more will all come together for #GivingTuesday - a movement to celebrate giving and kick off the holiday giving season. We invite you to join the movement and to help "get out the give" this December 2.

Why Give to the Lutheran Elementary School Association?

Currently, one in every six students in our member elementary schools receives tuition assistance through a Building Blocks Scholarship program; the need to help families from all walks of life who desire a quality, Lutheran education is real. As the number of children who identify with no Christian faith at all dramatically increases, our children desperately need to hear the life-saving message of God's grace. "For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth," Psalm 71:5. Let me share with you the gratitude expressed by a family who received tuition assistance through LESA's Building Blocks scholarship program for this school year.
We need your help to continue spreading the good news of God's grace and salvation to children in our community. During this season of giving, won't you please consider giving the gift of Lutheran education to a child today...a gift that will last for eternity? An extra blessing this Christmas season is that every dollar donated is matched 4:1 through matching grants. Praise the Lord!
