Countdown - 70 days
Today, Monday, June 12. When Elizabeth, an atrium child since age four, was 12 years old she was part of a team that supported CGS formation leader, Sr. Nancy Ayotte, IHM, by serving breakfast and lunches during the Level I catechist formations at Gesu Parish in Detroit.

One day she "snuck in" to listen to the history of the CGS as Sr. Nancy presented. Afterward she brought Eileen Bently a scrap of paper with the reflection she had written down.  They enjoyed her observation together. When Eileen later  showed it to Sr Nancy she said she had not made that connection with the Mustard Seed during her talk. It came from the heart of a child with an insight into the parable, a child who experiences the love of God and then becomes a disciple.

We continue to post reflections, timelines, images, stories, videos, and interviews that celebrate the growth of the mustard seed planted by Sofia and Gianna. We invite you to share with all of us how the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is transforming you, the children you serve,  your parish, your family, and your friends. Please email your submissions to:[email protected]

Additionally, we invite you to share our daily countdown with other catechists and faithful who may not have access to our daily communication.
