The lender they had been working with pulled out at the last minute due to an old newspaper article they had found on the borrower's 91-year-old Father (who was not a party to the transaction). We travelled to visit and underwrite three properties in Texas and Georgia and closed in 5 days to save the borrower's 1031 exchange as well as all of the broker fees involved in the exchange. |
