What: Photography Exhibit Grand Opening
When: Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Where: Shadows-on-the-Teche Visitors Center, 317 E. Main St., New Iberia, La.
Details:
The photos on exhibit are an eclectic collection from Louisiana and other southern states, Europe and Japan. The exhibit will be on display throughout the month of June. The public is invited to view the collection, and to come and meet the photographer at the opening on June.
Born in California, Dr. Lindsey was reared in Louisiana, graduated from New Iberia Senior High School in 1964, and received an undergraduate degree from the then University of Southwestern Louisiana. He obtained advanced degrees from East Texas State University and the University of Georgia. The retired academic has been a resident of Baton Rouge for the past 33 years. He is married to the former Renee Gayle Persac, and is the father of three children, Christian, Jonathan and Camille.
