NEW IBERIA, La. --- The Iberia Parish Tourist Commission elected new officers at its May 24, 2016 meeting.

Germaine Comeaux (at-large) replaced Gail Garcia (event community) as chairman of the board. Blair Suire (restaurant community) took Debbi Mitchell (Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce)'s position as vice chairman. Tammy Gordon (at-large) serves as the board's secretary/treasurer, replacing Comeaux.

Other commissioners on the board include Margaret Melancon (attractions community) and Nelwyn Hebert (lodging community).

The public is welcome to attend the board meetings on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 10:30 a.m. at the Iberia Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau.
