NEW IBERIA, La. -- The Iberia Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau created the "Summer Daze" movement for locals and visitors to show us and the world their summer fun in Iberia Parish with a social media photo contest.
In Louisiana, summer isn't just a season, it's a way of life. Memories are made on and off the water and we want you to capture those moments with photographs and videos.
The contest will run June 1 - August 30, 2016. To enter, simply like/follow us and use the hashtag #OnlyIberia in your captured moments around Iberia Parish on your Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. After the contest ends, a winner will be chosen based on originality and creativeness and will receive a secret grand prize to be announced closer to the contest end date.
With household name attractions such as the new Avery Island Experience, Jefferson Island Rip Van Winkle Gardens, Conrad Rice Mill, Shadows-on-the-Teche, Bayou Teche Museum and Jeanerette Museum, you don't have to look far for things to do right in your own backyard!
Summer Daze are here, so get out there and capture the moments...
