What: City wide debris pick up for Project Front Yard

Details:
The city of New Iberia will be facilitating residents' Project Front Yard efforts. Every household in the city will get debris pick up the week of May 9-14, 2016. Residents may place the following items in front of their homes: yard signs, tires, furniture and appliances. Please make sure to properly separate items and to bag grass and leaves.
These items will not be picked up: batteries, antifreeze, mercury, paint, oil, consumer electronics, brake fluid, televisions, solvents and creosote treated lumber.
Project Front Yard, set for May 14 this year, is a grass roots initiative using cleanliness, beautification and education to make improvements in our Iberia Parish "front yard".
