My name is Johanna Hyves. I am an eighteen-years-old girl who comes from France. I arrived in Louisiana two days ago, staying for a month in your wonderful Iberia Parish.

I come from St-Jean-d'Ang�ly, which is a city located in the southwest of France, and which is also the twin city of New Iberia where I will stay this month.

After high school, I started last September tourism studies for two years in the city of Saintes. In this context, I came here in order to discover your beautiful country and to complete my training, doing an internship with the Iberia Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau.

I am really glad to be here, in Cajun Country, where French is still present today. The people that I have met are very kind and welcoming with me. I look forward to discovering your culture and your beautiful country!

Je m'appelle Johanna Hyves et je suis une jeune fran�aise de dix-huit ans. Je suis arriv�e en Louisiane il y a deux jours, s�journant un mois dans votre magnifique Paroisse d'Ib�rie.

Je viens de St-Jean-d'Ang�ly, ville situ�e dans le Sud-Ouest de la France et jumel�e � la Nouvelle Ib�rie, o� je loge actuellement.

Apr�s l'obtention de mon Baccalaur�at au lyc�e de St-Jean-d'Ang�ly, j'ai commenc�, en Septembre dernier, des �tudes de deux ans dans le domaine du tourisme, � Saintes. C'est pour cela que je suis venue ici, pour d�couvrir votre beau pays, ainsi que pour compl�ter ma formation en faisant un stage au sein de The Iberia Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Je suis tr�s heureuse d'�tre ici, dans le Pays Cajun, o� le fran�ais est toujours pr�sent aujourd'hui. Les personnes que j'ai rencontr�es sont vraiment charmantes et accueillantes avec moi. J'ai h�te de mieux d�couvrir votre culture ainsi que votre beau pays!
