Oct. 1 - 16, 2015 - Hi Sugar! Exhibit - Celebrate the long-standing tradition of Iberia Parish's Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival with photos from the I.A. and Carol Martin Collection. The exhibit will feature individuals cutting sugar cane by hand, old time harvesting machines, the old sugar mills, Sugar Festival contestants and celebrated festival kings and queens. Oct. 2 - 4, 2015 - Tour du Teche Canoe Race - Annual 135-mile canoe, kayak and pirogue race on Bayou Teche with local culture and flavor featuring nightly festivals at each stop.
