Brittany Racca named IPCVB's new Communications Coordinator

NEW IBERIA, La. --- Brittany Racca recently accepted the Communications Coordinator position at the Iberia Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Racca's core responsibilities include coordinating content, public relations efforts, marketing, social media and graphic design.

"I am extremely excited to have been given this opportunity," Racca said. "I enjoy the work I have done so far here, and I look forward to helping promote Iberia Parish and all it offers in a more involved interest."

A native of Erath, La., Racca graduated in May 2014 from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a bachelor in Journalism and a minor in English. She worked as an intern at the Iberia Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau last spring and she transitioned to part time after graduation.

"We're so very grateful to have Brittany on our team," said Fran Thibodeaux, IPCVB's executive director. "Her knowledge, creativity and enthusiasm benefit us tremendously in promoting Iberia Parish."
