Hwy. 14 Gateway Cleanup

NEW IBERIA, La. --- In support of Project Front Yard - Iberia and in preparation for Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne's press tour in New Iberia for Tourism Awareness Week this May, the Iberia Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau would like to invite you to join them in their Hwy. 14 Gateway Cleanup on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 9 a.m.-noon.

Hwy. 14 is the first impression visitors exiting Hwy. 90 get about our community.

"Our goal with this cleanup is to beautify the Hwy. 14 gateway," said Fran Thibodeaux, the Iberia Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau's executive director. "We're very grateful that so many businesses along the gateway have committed to join us and clean up their front yard. The Berri Patch Kids Jr. Garden Club/Girl Scouts Troop 186 and IPCVB staff will focus on cleaning up the median at Hwy. 90 and Hwy. 14. The Azalea Garden Club will beautify the butterfly garden at our welcome center."

Volunteers will be treated to a free lunch at IPCVB's welcome center and will be entered to win a staycation prize package including lodging, meals and attraction passes.

To volunteer, sign up for the free lunch and enter to win the free staycation prize package, contact Fran Thibodeaux at [email protected] or 337-365-1540.

IPCVB appreciates your help in making our community the best place to live and visit!
