The Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce is bringing Project Front Yard to Iberia Parish through its Operation Progress initiative on Friday, Friday 27 at 7:30 a.m. in the Chamber office.
Project Front Yard is a grass roots effort currently in Lafayette Parish that uses cleanliness, beautification and education to make improvements in the city. Iberia Parish is the first parish to implement this initiative, making it regional.
Various Iberia Parish businesses and organizations, including the Iberia Industrial Development Foundation, Acadiana Regional Airport and Iberia Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau are supporting this movement coming to Iberia Parish through this project.

The Iberia Parish Convention & Visitors Bureau is the official parish marketing agency promoting New Iberia, Avery Island, Jefferson Island, Jeanerette, Loreauville and Delcambre as a destination. Marketing programs target leisure travelers, business travelers, media, entertainment industry, and the travel trade including group tour planners, meeting planners, sports planners and special event planners. The bureau operates a parish welcome center located at 2513 Hwy. 14 in New Iberia.
