Nov. 1, 2014 Delcambre Seafood and Farmers Market - Held monthly on the first Saturday of each month. Enjoy what's fresh for the season from area farms and local waters, along with tasting opportunities and recipes, live music, kids' activities and other special events. First annual 5K Fun Run or Walk hosted by the Delcambre High School Cheerleaders. Nov. 1,  2014 Jungle Gardens 5K - The race will be held on the hard pack road that travels throughout Jungle Gardens. Food, entertainment and awards will follow. All entrants will have a full day pass to explore the gardens and enjoy the area. Poceeds will go toward helping the children of St. Jude children's research hospital. Nov. 1 - 2, 2014 Shadows Civil War Encampment - Re-enactment of the invasion of the Teche region and the occupation of Shadows-on-the-Teche in 1863. The special weekend event will include re-enactors and encampment on the grounds of the Shadows. This year, thanks to a generous donation by Iberia Preservation Alliance, the encampment weekend will be free. Nov. 14 - 30, 2014 Spanish Festival Exhibit The Bayou Teche Museum will unveil its annual exhibit to coincide with El Festival Espaņol de Nueva Iberia on November 14th, the evening of the Spanish Festival Gala. The installation will feature a complete and genuine Flamenco costume and several other artifacts and authentic pieces brought to New Iberia from the Malaga region of Spain.
