Nov. 1, 2014 - Delcambre Seafood and Farmers Market - Held monthly on the first Saturday of each month. Nov. 1, 2014 - Jungle Gardens 5K - The race will be held on the hard pack road that travels throughout Jungle Gardens. Food, entertainment and awards will follow. All entrants will have a full day pass to explore the gardens and enjoy the area. Poceeds will go toward helping the children of St. Jude children's research hospital. Nov. 1 - 2, 2014 - Shadows Civil War Encampment - Re-enactment of the invasion of the Teche region and the occupation of Shadows-on-the-Teche in 1863.
