Jeanerette Museum to present "Dancehalls of South Louisiana" film viewing April 9

JEANERETTE, La. --- The Jeanerette Bicentennial Museum is pleased to host the one hour film viewing of "Dancehalls of South Louisiana," led by University of Louisiana at Lafayette documentary filmmaker and folklorist John Sharp.
The film includes an introduction by Sharp along with a brief history discussion on Louisiana dancehalls. The event will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9 at the Jeanerette Museum located at 500 E. Main St. in Jeanerette.
