Over 500 people visited the Louisiana Travel Promotion Assoc. booth at the Florida Snowbird Extravaganza and signed up for the giveaway. The Louisiana recipe book, in which we advertise, was distributed.

 - The Sugar City Growers Co-op held a groundbreaking and ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Feb. 12, in Jeanerette. The co-op is a certified BestLife Iberia garden project. BestLife Iberia Gardens is a program of the BestLife Iberia initiative of the Iberia Industrial Development Foundation. The Sugar City Growers Co-op will bring year round vegetable production to Jeanerette through its hydroponic garden.
