  • Reposez en paix (rest in peace) (April 9, 1958 - February 10, 2014) of Loreauville. Madame Jennifer was Assistant Director at the Acadiana Regional Airport. We extend our sympathies to her family and friends.  













  • The Sugar City Growers Co-op held a groundbreaking and ribbon cutting ceremony last Wednesday, Feb. 12, in Jeanerette. The co-op is a certified BestLife Iberia garden project. BestLife Iberia Gardens is a program of the BestLife Iberia initiative of the Iberia Industrial Development Foundation. The Sugar City Growers Co-op will bring year round vegetable production to Jeanerette through its hydroponic garden.

  • Over 500 people visited the Louisiana Travel Promotion Assoc. booth at the Florida Snowbird Extravaganza and signed up for the giveaway. The Louisiana recipe book, in which IPCVB advertises, was distributed.berry

  • The Berry Queens will hold their Hats'n Hallelujahs Gospel Brunch on Sunday, Feb. 23 at noon at the Sliman Theater in New Iberia. $25 per person. Sunday dress with hats.







  • Vern's Catering catered for the NBA in New Orleans last weekend. Help them win a small business grant from FedEx by voting here.

  • We are a member of the Louisiana Tourism Coastal Coalition, which contracted Gillies and Zaiser Public Relations for one year to attract media to Louisiana's coastal parishes. Their representatives toured our area in December. They are currently using Mardi Gras and king cakes to get us media coverage.
