Nov. 9, 2013 - Shadows Sesquicentennial Civil War Tour - Historian Don Frazier, PhD, and naturalist Kelby Ouchley will lead a bus tour from Shadows-on-the-Teche, which will concentrate on the local action related to the Civil War from both the historical and naturalist perspectives. The tour includes Irish Bend and other sites of conflict between the two armies, including Avery Island where Dr. Shane Bernard will speak about artifacts belonging to the families that participated in the war.
