Our BP community relations representative, Gerald Ford, will give an update on BP activities today at 10:30 a.m. at IPCVB's monthly meeting. Here's the list of BP grant recipients in the last award round. IPCVB is a member of the Louisiana Tourism Coastal Coalition, which received $500,000.

- IPCVB is partnering with tour operator Allons à Lafayette to target student tours in Acadiana and around Louisiana. We will include this itinerary in our Iberia Parish Official Group Planner when communicating with schools and youth groups.

- Monsieur Raymond Pellerin with Tour du Teche asks Iberia merchants and residents to make handmade signs to welcome Tour du Teche to our community from Oct. 4-6. Businesses with electronic signs could display a welcome message. Those who live on the bayou could also place signs on the banks and bridges.
