 Jeanerette Museum will present the history talk, Violent Louisiana: Chaos After the Civil War, at 6 p.m. on Aug. 21 in the museum annex (500 E. Main St., Jeanerette). The talk will be led by Professor Michael Martin of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. This event is suitable for teenagers and adults and is free of charge.
