WHAT: Iberia Cultural Resources Summer Meeting/ Introduction to Iberia Cultural Resources Association's soon to be published book, New Iberia-What Can't Be Lost.
WHO: Originally incorporated in 1969 by the late Mary Brown, Jacob Landry, Nancy Jordan and others, Iberia Cultural Resources Association was then revived in 2006. Since its inception, the non-profit organization has played a major role in broadening the intellectual and cultural awakening of the community. It offers various free cultural events, including symphony concerts, theatrical performances and lecture programs to fulfill its mission of conserving and preserving history and culture.

Come and enjoy an introduction to ICRA's new book, New Iberia-What Can't Be Lost, including a sampling of the more than 100 stories which describe growing up in Iberia Parish. These stories, set in New Iberia, Coteau, Delcambre, Jeanerette, Loreauville, Avery Island and Weeks Island, provide humorous, interesting, and informative recollections of life in Iberia. The book will be published in October.
