- Iberia Cultural Resources Association will introduces its new book at its Aug. 14 meeting at 5:30 p.m. at the Sliman Theater in New Iberia. The event is free and open to the public. New Iberia-What Can't Be Lost features more than 100 stories, which describe growing up in Iberia Parish. These stories, set in New Iberia, Coteau, Delcambre, Jeanerette, Loreauville, Avery Island and Weeks Island, provide humorous, interesting, and informative recollections of life in Iberia.
