Celebrate Bastille Day with Us

Today is France's National Day, commemorating the Storming of the Bastille in Paris
on the morning of July 14, 1789. The medieval fortress and prison known as the Bastille contained only seven inmates at the time but was a symbol of the abuses of the monarchy.
Its fall was the flashpoint of the French Revolution.

In France, Le quatorze juillet (14 July) is a public holiday,
usually called Bastille Day in English.

If you're not celebrating the day at Daley Plaza in Chicago,
then stop by the shop and join our celebration!

We are cycling enthusiasts, as are many of our Wine With Me friends.
Keep up with the Tour de France race and share some wine with us during
the next couple of weeks. The 102th edition ends on July 26th
and racers have completed 10 of the 21 stages,
which cover a total distance of 3,360 kilometres (2088 miles).
