He's made it!
Bob Koch started his journey over a year ago, but it's almost complete.  This was about a week ago and he had just crossed into Maine.

Bob Koch completes Appalachian Trail fundraiser for Angel Flight Southeast

(September 1,  2015) -Bob Koch is back home after spending the last 10 and a half weeks walking over a thousand miles to complete his quest to hike the entire 2,180 mile Appalachian  Trail. Koch reached the summit of Mt. Katahdin, in Maine on Friday, August 28.

Last summer, while at midpoint on the Appalachian Trail, Koch was rushed to a Maryland hospital where he underwent emergency surgery to repair a perforated ulcer.  He resumed his hike in late June 2015 fully recovered and determined to finish.

Koch dedicated his hike to raising money for Angel Flight Southeast, a network of volunteer pilots who fly patients to life-saving medical appointments after hearing about the organization from his friend Broadus "Bo" Bowman, a Angel Flight Southeast pilot.

Like the other Angel Flight Southeast pilots, Bowman donates his time, fuel and his airplane to fly patients and their families. While the pilots volunteer their time and aircraft, Angel Flight Southeast relies on donations to pay for services that keep their passengers and pilots in the air.

Donations are still being accepted to commemorate Koch's accomplishment. To make a donation, please email archerbo2@gmail.com and use the subject line "Bob Koch Trail." For more information about Angel Flight Southeast, call (888) 744-8263 or visit www.AngelFlightSE.org.

Wedding bells!
Dear Mr. Purello,

Hi, my Fiance , Dan Bradbary and I are currently planning our wedding day which is scheduled for November 21, 2015. As we anticipate our special day we are feeling excited and blessed. We have both decided to support Angel Flight Southeast in lieu of gifts. We will be asking our guests to help support this cause which is close to our hearts.

Dan's grandson, Tiberius Bradbary, was fortunate enough to benefit from Angel Flight Southeast during his recent bout with Lymphoma. He was flown between Key West and Miami Children's hospital throughout his treatment as seen in the attachment.  We are happy to report that he is now in remission and his prognosis is favorable. His parents, family and friends are forever thankful for all that you did. I also happen to be a NICU nurse and couldn't be happier to support the services of Angel Flight Southeast.

We would love to display a banner, signs or make any handouts available to our 120 guests attending our wedding. We hope to bring as much awareness to Angel Flight Southeast as we can. All donations that we receive will go directly to Angel Flight Southeast as our gift.

Sincerely,

Lisa Fuller & Dan Bradbary

Thank you Lisa & Dan! Very thoughtful!

Never forget!
