Announcement Regarding SFBAA Board Member Dave Davis

It is with great sorrow that I send this email out to all. Several months ago one of our board members, Dave Davis, was diagnosed with cancer. He went through treatment for quite some time before surgery became an option.  Even with the best doctors in town and Dave's continuous fighting spirit, after several weeks of surgeries and various treatments, Dave lost his valiant battle and succumbed to the greater odds.  He fought to survive more than anyone could know and his spirit and friendship will live on in us all forever.

Dave will be laid to rest in Winston Salem on Saturday, October 25th, around 2pm. For those that can attend, there will be a Memorial Sercvice in Boca Raton at the Glick Funeral Home, on October 28th starting at 6:30pm followed by a gathering for pasta, wine, and conversation to celebrate Dave's life.

In lieu of cards and flowers, it has been requested that a donation be made in Dave's name to Angel Flight Southeast.

With Heavy Heart,

Jeff Ramsden, President SFBAA
