Labor Day fundraising BBQ |
A very special thanks to Bert Boliek, Jennifer Boliek and the Leesburg Boat Club for holding this event! The event raised a new boat club-record for fundraising, bringing in over $6,000.
Competitors donated their BBQ skills cooking through the night and donated over 380 lbs of delicious meat in addition to many dishes the members brought to the table.
Thank you as well to volunteers pilot Mike Alger, Lisa, Chase, Zach, Bruce Brown and Jodi Soule for helping out.

Jennifer Boliek's son Alex, who received a flight from Angel Flight Southeast 11 1/2 years ago from Florida to Delaware for a heart problem. He has fully recovered!

Pilot Charlie Gould flew 3 year-old, 33 lb. Kalanie C. Kalanie was on the liver transplant list at Shands in Gainesville, FL and needed to be flown within hours to receive her liver. Way to go Charlie!!

Earth Angel
We are looking for drivers in the Tampa area near either Tampa Executive Airport or Moffitt Cancer Center to drive our passengers to or from the airport. Currently, the passengers are forced to use a Taxi.
Thank you Michael Boylan for volunteering! Michael received a flight from us 14 years ago as a multi-visceral organ recipient! We could use at least one more.
Video editor We are looking to create a new video with clips we've received over the past year. Our existing one is getting a bit dated, and we'd love to tell our story better than ever!
Thank you to Pilot Harvey Moore for offering his company's services to help us with this project!
Event Chairperson: Fort Lauderdale Pilot Awards Gala April 17th/18th, 2015. We will be moving this event to the Emerald Hills Golf Club where the Mike & Shirley Brady Foundation will be putting on our Golf Tournament there in 2015. We are looking for someone who has the time and resources to organize a committee to hold our 2014 Pilot Awards there. Thank you to Volunteer Helicopter Pilot Jane Wareham for signing up as a committee member! We still need a chairperson! Thanks to Bruce Brown for volunteering as Co-chairman.
