New software, better results
With the latest updates to our coordination software, passengers can sign and send their waivers of liability right on our pilots' smart-phones and tablets!

Pilots: Ask your Care Traffic Controller how you can take advantage of this feature and never have to print/fax/send these forms ever again! Works on Apple, Android and Windows devices.

Appalachian Trail

Bob 's pledges are over $6,000 and counting!

Latest picture of Bob on Appalachian Trail a few days ago, taken by his niece who hiked with him for a couple days

The entire trail is 2,185 miles long. He is asking that people make pledges for his hike on a per mile basis.  For example, if he completes the entire hike as planned:

  • One cent/mile pledge = $21.85
  • Two cents/mile pledge = $43.70
  • Ten cents/mile pledge = $218.50 (Bob himself and Bo have pledged)

To make a pledge, simply email the number of miles and the amount per mile you'd like to pledge.

Once he completes his trek, we'll publish the miles (we fully expect it to be the full 2,185) and send an email back asking for the donation.

Please use the subject line: "Bob Koch trail" and email

Arranged by Bo Bowman- Thanks Bo!

(New) Earth Angel
We are looking for drivers in the Tampa area near either Tampa Executive Airport or Moffitt Cancer Center to drive our passengers to or from the airport. Currently, the passengers are forced to use a Taxi.

Designated Mission Orientation Pilot(s)
Work-from-home
We are looking for one or more individuals who will help our new pilots become oriented with how our charity provides our service. The volunteer must be able to use webinar technology (not, hard, we can train you) ad conduct training via the web and telephone on average once per month.

(New) Video editor
We are looking to create a new video with clips we've received over the past year. Our existing one is getting a bit dated, and we'd love to tell our story better than ever!

Technology

If you or your company would like to donate new or used we are looking for:

(1) iPad Version 2 or higher (preferably)

Of course, we will provide your company/accountant a letter for your taxes

Thank you to Debbie Freeman (Grandmother of passenger Aubrie Duffy), who sent us two new computers to bring our office back up to standard!

Thank you to Laura Spolar for her PC and monitor donation!

Event Chairperson: Fort Lauderdale Pilot Awards Gala April 17th/18th, 2015. We will be moving this event to the Emerald Hills Golf Club where the Mike & Shirley Brady Foundation will be putting on our Golf Tournament there in 2015. We are looking for someone who has the time and resources to organize a committee to hold our 2014 Pilot Awards there.

Thank you to Volunteer Helicopter Pilot Jane Wareham for signing up as a committee member! We still need a chairperson! Thanks to Bruce Brown for volunteering as Co-chairman.

Email Steve if you're interested. steve.purello@mercymail.org

Who wants to sponsor a foursome?
