Passenger story:

My last flight was with Pilot Dave Rivero. Our trip was from Marathon Florida in the Florida Keys to Showalter [Orlando Executive] Airport in Orlando for my post-op appointment. I was to meet him at 8 AM. The weather was not in our favor and the winds were pretty bad. Dave called me that morning to tell me that he was still going to get me to my Drs appointment  but we would be late. Sure enough even with some tough winds we arrived in Orlando. We could not get a taxi so with in a few minutes the staff at Showalter Flying Service were handing car keys to Dave. Sure enough he drove me to the hospital and even offered to wait in the office. By the time we arrived back to the airport it was getting late  and soon would be getting dark. This would not give us enough time to fly back to Marathon so we had to land in another airport where Dave keeps his air craft on the main land which is about one hour and 45 minutes from my home. After a day like that, he offered to drive me home. I told him I was so grateful for all that he had done for me that day and I would arrange for someone to drive me home. Even with that, he still drove me about half way to meet my ride. This is a hero to me ! Alan Hoffberg, you're [his story]next !
