Amelia & her Flagler/Palm Coast cousin

Two of our three airplane floats are being rehabilitated this summer thanks to Flying Colors Paint & Interior housed in the Angel Flight building at the Leesburg International Airport. We are fixing, cleaning and making room for sponsors logos as well as updating them with QR codes, websites and Facebook pages for people to view and photograph as we drive them around our region. Special thanks to Victor, Daniel, Lori & Johnny "Overspray" for helping to make these floats better than ever for our upcoming season of events!

Thanks to Kevin Rosa, owner of the White Eagle Lounge who contributed greatly to the creation of the Flagler Palm Coast float (she needs a name) and many Poker Runs in the area to benefit our charity. Kevin passed away earlier this year after a long battle with cancer. Keith Evans, our Flagler/Palm Coast Wing leader will be running another Poker Run in October this year, benefiting Angel Flight and holding in in Kevin's memory.

Note from Steve: Thanks for everyone's patience last week while I acted as the Care Traffic Controller last week while Kathy was on a well-deserved vacation. She has a very busy job, and does it extremely well. A true professional. We are lucky to have her. Thank you also to all of the pilots who chipped in last minute to fill every flight we booked last week! You guys rock. Special thanks to Harvey Moore, who is constantly on our Flight Explorer screen fitting flights into his busy schedule.
