Dear Angel Flight Southeast,
I wanted to personally thank the entire Angel Flight staff and pilots who generously donated their time, to arrange and transport myself and companion for medical treatment.
This was my first time flying with Angel Flight and an amazing experience it was. I come from a family of pilots so traveling and flying has always been first nature to me. We became informed of Angel Flight through one of its fellow pilots who is a close family friend. Unfortunately, when I became sick seven years ago traveling and flying turned into a nightmare. Every little bump in the road, change in temperature, or environment upset my nervous system. Finally after hundreds of doctors visits, treatment, traveling out of the country, and now with the help of Angel Flight, after my last treatment I am back into remission and feeling great. The ease and transition of the pilots, the shorter trip, and the excellent service made this possible for me.
Again, I wanted to send my sincerest gratitude to all who were involved in planning and carrying out my flight. I am now able to start living life once again... Pain FREE! Thank you.
Best Regards,
Suzanne Hyatt

Pilots needed for Challenge Air 2013 |
Greetings!
January 26, 2013 8:00am- 3:00pm
Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE)
Challenge Air 2013 is just around the corner, and we need pilots! Last year's event in January was a great day! 76 disabled kids and their families were given "empowering" rides in airplanes at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.
Flights are approximately 20 minutes and pilots may choose the weight they are comfortable carrying.
We were short of pilots last year, so some children almost got left behind. Please help this year!
