Angel Flight South Central- Louisiana |
As of this week, Angel Flight South Central will be officially taking over the state of Louisiana for the Air Charity Network.
For the past few years, AFSC had been operating outside of the Air Charity Network as Grace Flight and been helping Mercy Flight Southeast fill missions in that region. With the re-entry into the Air Charity Network, the organization will now take responsibility for new missions of passengers living in the State of Louisiana. Pilots already flying for Mercy Flight Southeast are already grandfathered in with Mercy Flight, but may fly for either organization.
Mercy Flight Southeast will continue to be responsible for passengers living in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina. Angel Flight Southeast will continue to be responsible for passengers living in Florida.
Since AFSC has been primarily responsible for filling missions in that area for the past few years, we believe this is a sensible move for all.
Congratulations to Tim Dammon and the team for doing a great job in that region.

Pilots needed for Challenge Air 2013 |
Greetings!
January 26, 2013 8:00am- 3:00pm
Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE)
Challenge Air 2013 is just around the corner, and we need pilots! Last year's event in January was a great day! 76 disabled kids and their families were given "empowering" rides in airplanes at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.
Flights are approximately 20 minutes and pilots may choose the weight they are comfortable carrying.
We were short of pilots last year, so some children almost got left behind. Please help this year!

Our organization entirely relies on donations to keep going. More than ever, we could use your help. Please consider making a donation today. Even better, make a recurring donation to help all year long.
