Is It Time To Move On?
Do you know your own "seasons"? Do you know the signs to look for and are you watching as they show up for you or your employees? On average, Americans hold 7-8 jobs in their career, so the definition of job permanence has changed. Here are a few to look for: you are getting sick more often, the job is impacting your health, you are not in the communication loop as you might have been, you are not learning anything new or are challenged, etc. As a leader, watch for increased absences, restlessness, questioning authority in ways that are not characteristic or even signs of depression in your employee.
