Exclusive Opportunities for the Feline Groomer
Danelle German, CFMG, CFCG

Last year we sat down with Danelle German to talk about the National Cat Groomers Institute of America. There were changes on the horizon.

Here it is, one year later. The school has been shut down. However, Danelle has not turned her back on cat grooming education. Instead, there are new opportunities to help people - online training.

Danelle knew it was difficult for people to attend their 2-week program in South Carolina. Finding two weeks out of their already packed schedules was nearly impossible. Paying for the full education was also a challenge. Students typically spent between $8,000 and $10,000 for the training once you combined all the travel expenses. Whew. That's a chunk of change!

Danelle's goal was to make the training more economical. She had to find a new way to teach. She needed to embrace technology. Succeeding in that arena meant exclusive new opportunities.

What are Danelle's favorite parts about her new cat grooming program? The core program is totally online. It's highly accessible. There is no waiting. You can have instant access to all the critical information. You can review it as many times as you like. Not only is it a great resource for new people entering the field - it's also a great refresher for any of the NCGIA past graduates. Plus, it's a great way to get more information if you caught Danelle speaking programs around the globe.

One of Danelle's unique characteristics is her ability to create effective study material. Danelle comes from a homeschool background. She found it so successful that she homeschooled her own children. She has over 26 years developing creating and implementing training programs. If anybody can be successful at building an online curriculum, it is Danelle German.
