Grooming the Kerry Blue Terrier

"Terriers are all about angles - striking angles. They are not round like a Poodle or a Bichon." The Kerry Blue Terrier is a showcase of angles. Karen Tucker explains key points of the breed to help you visualize what it should look like. Karen does a fabulous job of giving the viewer reference points as landmarks to establish the correct outline for the breed.

Watch as she shows how to shape the coat with clippers, guard combs, shears, and blenders. Many stylists love grooming Terriers because they are extremely tailored. There is a lot you can do "right" for a dog and a lot you can do "wrong." After watching this lesson, you will feel confident grooming a Kerry Blue Terrier, even if you have never groomed one before!
