Do you have clients with cats that you're not grooming?
That's exactly how Judy Hudson was not that long ago. But she asked herself, "Why am I grooming this clients dog's every couple of weeks but not doing their cat?" She was letting the money simply slip through her fingers - and she knew it.
Judy has been a long time pet professional. She's been a vet tech, an awarding-winning canine stylist, a grooming judge, an industry speaker, a platform demonstrator, and is certified pet first aid instructor. She thought to herself, "How hard can a cat be to bathe?"
Judy's life long experience with animals gave her the edge she needed to deal with cats safely. She knows they need to be handled slightly differently than dogs to keep both her and cat safe. Over the years, she's been exposed to a few fabulous products and tools. She demonstrates how to use these items her to get the cat super clean, de-shedded, and dry in no time.
In this lesson, Judy takes your thorough the steps needed to get a cat brushed out, clean, and dried in her mobile grooming van. Because the space was so tight, we opted to use a head mount camera for some of this video so you could really get a great view from Judy's perspective.
Judy Hudson does not profess to be a true "cat groomer" but she certainly can get a cat washed and dried in no time. To her, it was easy money that is no longer slipping through her fingertips.
