Provincial News New Name. Same Service! Spinal Cord Injury Alberta [formerly Canadian Paraplegic Association (Alberta)] will continue to provide information and services on behalf of people with spinal cord injuries and their families throughout Alberta. We have been doing so for over 50 years and we will continue to do so but with a new name that reflects the work we do.

Office Closed Temporarily
SCI Alberta Grande Prairie office has been closed due to flooding that affected their offices. It is our hope that they will be re-opening soon. Keep an out eye for an open house, or stop in to say hello after February 2, 2015.

Women's Peer Group
Feb 11, 10:30 - 1:30 (or later) Women's Peer Group at the SCI Alberta Office in the Eastlink Centre. This is the best time for Handivan. Please let Mieke know if this time does not work for you. Handivan has been informed, but you'll need to arrange your own transportation.

Study Exploring Disability and Employment
Do you have a physical disability or chronic illness? Are you currently employed? Would you like to participate in a study exploring disability and employment? This is an interview study that can be completed at a location of your choice or by telephone. Each participant will receive $25 compensation for participating in the study.
