Winter Updates

Adapted Scuba Diving

Thanks to our friends at Northwest Scuba, this winter we were able to dive in a pool and learn the skills necessary to breathe under water! The program is open to anyone of any ability level or injury level. Thanks to all who made the program possible! Contact the office for more information on next program dates.

Indoor Spin

Each Wednesday evening in the fall, winter and spring, a group of cyclists get together and spin in this one of a kind integrated spin class. This program has been one of our most popular programs as participation has been high!

The program runs Sept-Dec and Jan-Apr. Its a great way to try a bike without having to go outdoors! We still have a couple more classes left in April so if you want to try it out, please contact us. A big THANK YOU to the volunteers, instructor and participants for making it such a great success!

 Boccia

Adapted Adventures has partnered with the Alberta Cerebral Palsy Sport Association. This winter the sport of Boccia was reintroduced to Alberta. This sport is playable up to the Paralympic level and is ideal for those with higher level of injury or disability. If you are interested in learning more, please contact ACPSA!
