Your support saves lives
A taste of what you made possible in 2013
2013 has been a memorable year for the fight to end colon cancer. Here are just a few of the programs and efforts your support made possible:

  • Hundreds of awareness banners are now on Pegasus trucks traveling across the country, reaching hundreds of thousands of people.

  • Thousands of Kentuckians began getting colon cancer screenings through the Kentucky Colon Cancer Screening Program. The Colon Cancer Prevention Project led the advocacy efforts for this program and is involved with it on both state and local levels.

  • Thousands will take the pledge to fight colon cancer through our new Pledge Program sponsored by Boston Scientific.

  • Patients in Kentucky and Southern Indiana who are fighting colon cancer now have a local resource called The Fighters' Fund to apply for a one-time financial assistance grant.

  • We worked with national partners to focus on the fact that there's a growing number of people under the age of 50 being diagnosed with colon cancer.
  • Thousands learned about screening through the Incredible Colon, which we took to events across Kentucky and Southern Indiana.

....and that's just to name a few!

Thank you for making all of this possible. We are so grateful for your support.
