Why so blue?
Dress in Blue Day is just 8 days away!
March 1 is National Dress in Blue Day, a day that raises awareness for colon cancer and screening.

No matter where you are that day, you can help the cause. Put on something blue, and tell people why. Also, share information about screening wherever you go, and on social media.

Colon cancer is highly preventable with screening. Spread the word!

Go here for more information about Dress in Blue Day and how you can raise awareness.

Be sure to share your Dress in Blue Day photos and stories with us here!

You may have seen it before - a pink cave with thick polyps and dark pink lymph nodes.

The Incredible Colon, a 20-foot-long educational tool, catches attention wherever it goes.

And during Colon Cancer Awareness Month in March, it will be touring Kentucky to teach people about the importance of colon cancer screening.

Here are some of the Kentucky sites partners including the Project and the Kentucky Cancer Program are taking the colon that the Project manages during March. If you see it, take a photo of yourself with it and post it here!

This particular colon is managed by the Project and comes to Kentucky thanks to a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Kentucky Department for Public Health through the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant.

Painting for a great cause
Uptown Art Uncorked in Louisville had a packed house on Feb. 6 during an event organized by the Project's Young Professionals Group.

The night raised money for the Project, and everyone went home with their own work of art!

Thank you to Uptown Art, the Young Professionals Committee, and everyone who attended the event!
