What you make possible
Making History
This year has been a historical one for colon cancer awareness and prevention. Kentucky saw its first-ever funding for a program that will help screen more than 4,000 low-income, uninsured residents for colon cancer. The Project worked hard to advocate for this funding.

We also worked nationally to address the increasing number of people under 50 being diagnosed with colon cancer. We hired a navigator to focus on access to screening and provide education across the region. We formed a new support group for colon cancer survivors.

By working together, we can eliminate preventable colon cancer death and suffering. We won't stop until we do.

This holiday season, please consider supporting this mission with a tax-deductible donation. You can make a donation easily and securely on our web site, or mail a check payable to the Colon Cancer Prevention Project to P.O. Box 4039, Louisville, Ky. 40204.

Also, talk with your family about colon cancer screening. Screening saves lives.

Thank you for your support, and for making all of this work possible in 2012.

Sincerely,

The Colon Cancer Prevention Project Team
