Join us for our 4th annual Desert Discovery Day - a day of free outdoor experiences and hands-on education at the Jewel of the Creek Preserve in Cave Creek! 

Children will receive a stamp at each station along the Harry Dalton Trail, and a goody bag for collecting stamps. Stations include live animals, crafts, information and activities from DFLT and partners. There will even be free refreshments!

We are grateful to all the wonderful photographers who entered the Mountains of the Land Trust Photo Contest! By sharing 71 incredible photos of Black Mountain and Daisy Mountain, they are helping us inspire support for local land conservation!

Two grand prize winners will be selected - one by a panel of professional judges including Don Asakawa, Alan Lowy, Richard Rubenstein and Jerry Seive, and the other will be selected by YOU!

Voting for the Peoples' Choice Grand Prize is now LIVE on the photo contest website! Voting will end on December 11, 2015 at 4:00 pm. Winners will be announced on or before December 15, 2015.
