It's Art for Lands Sake -
Exhibition and Sale
It's a match made in heaven - an art exhibition and sale that brings together the remarkable artists in our community, with the beautiful landscape that so often inspires them! The Land Trust solicited works of art that celebrated DFLT preserves. The resulting entries were juried by renowned Scottsdale artist Charles H. Pabst and the finalists will be displayed at the Desert Foothills Library from February 22 - 28, 2015.

On Saturday, February 28 the paintings will be available for sale, with 25% of the sales benefiting the Land Trust's conservation work. We hope you will visit the exhibition and purchase a piece that reflects the landscape you love.

20th Annual Sonoran Stars
at a beautiful
new venue!

After outgrowing our space at Los Cedros, we began looking for a venue that would celebrate our desert environment, and we found just the spot near Scottsdale and Jomax roads, down the road from McDonald Ranch. This "Desert Foothills" location allows the event to grow, and provides us gorgeous desert surroundings - both luxurious comfort and the beautiful atmosphere that we all love for Sonoran Stars.

We will have a wonderful dinner by Chef Tony Rea, a silent auction, a live auction with auctioneer Letitia Frye, and the release of a rehabilitated owl by Wild At Heart. This year, we will also feature dancing under the stars with music by Western Fusion and professional dancers from Fred Astaire

Dance Studios.

Put on your dancing boots and treat yourself to a great evening! Tickets and sponsorships are available by contacting us at 480-488-6131 or info@dflt.org. Don't miss the fun!
