A group of Middle School students went to Catholic Memorial to participate in a STEM Challenge.  Their problem statement was: Your large team will consist of two smaller teams. One small team will design a device to launch an object while the other small team will design a device to redirect the object into a plastic cup. Only the items from your supply list may be used to create the devices and launch object.
Students in Mrs. Heinen's homeroom enjoyed crazy sock day!
Fifth grade students were given a challenge to meet all the middle school homeroom teachers during the Open House.  Those who completed the challenge were entered into a drawing for a Culver's Lunch.
A group of seventh grade girls attended the DSHA Middle School Leadership Conference. The students had an opportunity to engage and collaborate with participants on a variety of topics including leadership, public speaking, team work, confidence building, exploring goals, service and more. It was a great way for our students to work with other girls from across the state.
