Program Spotlight

City of Great Falls & Cascade County Wellness Programs

In the spirit of New Year's resolutions, healthy eating, and active living this quarter's program spotlight goes to two outstanding worksite wellness programs. Both the City of Great Falls Wellness Program and the Cascade County Wellness Program encourage their employees to make healthy lifestyle choices and challenge them to get active. These two programs are unique in that each program invites employees participating in either wellness program to join in their events. This collaboration provides a multitude of activity opportunities and events for employees to participate in and improve their health.

The City of Great Falls Wellness Program includes a cancer prevention component in addition to its wellness offerings. Making healthy choices and getting screened regularly can help reduce employee risks for cancer. The Cascade County Wellness Program distributes wellness booklets to each of their employees that participate in the program. This booklet helps employees keep track of their activity throughout the year and includes motivational and encouraging messages for an extra boost.

These programs are new to our website. If you'd like to learn more about them, check them out here!
