We foresee a natural link with the Farmers Market and eventually, the new library also going in on the same campus (North end of the property). Previous TEAM Punta Gorda Community Gardens are operating at the South County Regional Park, and at Punta Gorda's Public Safety Building. Both have operated with waiting lists for garden plots. This is the most ambitious garden that TEAM has attempted, with 36 plots and room for expansion. Many thanks to the Master Gardeners Program for all of the teaching and coaching they provide. Nancy Johnson

Adopt a Piano
One of the curriculum specialists at Charlotte County Public Schools advised that with their tight budgets and just maintaining their arts programs, their pianos in 18 schools have not been tuned in years! They ask for your help by adopting a piano.
They estimate the cost to be $100 for each piano. If you can help and value in-tune pianos, contact Ellen.harvey@yourcharlotteschools.net, phone 941-255-0808, ext. 3178.

They Stepped Up to help TEAM
We continue to be amazed by the civic-minded residents of our community who step up to help TEAM in its efforts to make Punta Gorda a great place to live.We welcome the following people and are grateful for their support:
Debbie Jones recently joined us as TEAM's Marketing Chair. (Her picture will be in next month's issue).
Diane Harper accepted the role of Annual Meeting Chair. The initial planning began this week. Contact her if you would like to join this committee or if you would like to help at the meeting, contact Sue Carman (phone number below under Help Wanted).
| Nancy Morris with Jackson |
Nancy Morris agreed to Co-Chair Pedal 'N Play in Paradise. We need another bike- minded person to help her out. It will be fun! Her picture is with her grandson. Jackson likes to ride in his trailer behind her bike when she takes to the trails in Punta Gorda. She is looking forward to working with all the committees that pull the P&P together for another successful year.
Richard Collins stepped up to help keep the yellow bikes in good working order. Richard loves to ride his bike in the early morning and checks on the community bikes as part of his daily ride.
Your community and fellow TEAM Volunteers welcome you to the ranks of the involved!
