As you will see in this issue of our newsletter, TEAM volunteers are hard at work!
We were delighted with the results of our "TEAM Turns 10" celebration held Oct. 24 with some 268 guests attending. A wonderful time was had by all.
Please make note that this year's TEAM annual meeting will be held Jan. 29, 2015, at the PG Isles Civic Association. Event details to follow.
Upcoming events include TEAM's annual golf outing (March 21) and Pedal and Play in Paradise (March 28).

"Share the Lane" Charlotte
 As mentioned in the October TEAM Talk, TEAM volunteers have been working with partners to promote bicycle safety in our community. TEAM was awarded a grant from the Charlotte Community Foundation (CCF) toward that end. Projects include a public education campaign on bicycle safety, wayfinder kiosks, "Open Street" events to promote a healthy lifestyle, web-addition of an ADA-compliant bicycle to the TEAM yellow bicycle fleet.
Speaking of healthy lifestyles, there will be an "ugly" sweater walk/run on Dec. 17 starting at Foot Landing and ending at Fishermen's Village. Fishermen's Village will award three prizes for the ugliest sweater. Fishermen's Village has also contracted the trolley to shuttle people back to the parking garage by Foot Landing after the event. Home Depot will be donating luminaries to light the path through Gilchrist Park.

The TEAM Board of Directors seeks a person to attend monthly board meetings, held the second Wednesday of the month in the evening, and record minutes.

Nov. 20, 5-9 p.m., Gallery Walk, Christmas Tree Lighting
Dec. 6, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Christmas Parade, need yellow bike riders
Additionally, all TEAM committees can always use new faces. Those who are unsure where they fit in should contact Sue Carman for more information.
