 LEED PROJECT PROFILES

The U.S. Green Building Council's LEED project profiles engage the green building community in contributing to and learning from LEED projects to advance green building knowledge.

Create a LEED project profile and establish yourself as a leader in green building. Share your successes, strategies, best practices and lessons learned. Profiles are featured in USGBC's LEED project directory and the Green Building Information Gateway.

LEED: THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY

Join us for a panel discussion on implemented design features and practices that have worked and some that have not worked as well.  The panel will consist of building owners/managers, design and construction team members and engineering professionals that will share stories of implementations and the results.

We will release more information about the panelists as they are confirmed.

Continental breakfast will be served.

You must register to attend as space is limited.

Thank you to our event sponsor:

LETTER FROM THE CHAIR

I would like to welcome Dennis Bekken, Vice-Chair, to the executive committee of the Board and thank Steve Hassevoort for serving as Vice-Chair last year.  Having Cheri and Victor continue in their officer roles will be an asset to the Chapter.

The Board of Directors has chosen to focus the Chapter's efforts this year on Schools of the Future (June 18th) and Green Apple Service Day (September 28th).  We are asking each member to consider becoming an event sponsor. Please contact Renae Hesselink for sponsorship details.

Are you aware of the NEW national USGBC
membership dues structure?  The new structure is not based on the revenue of your organization, but on the level of engagement with USGBC.  Because of this new structure the Chapter anticipates a significant loss in the amount of revenue sharing received from USGBC. This revenue sharing currently makes up 45% of our annual revenue.  We are asking each member organization to consider becoming a Chapter Sponsor to help support the local green buildings movement. Please click the link or contact
Jen Schottke for sponsorship details.
